William Charles Fearn Obituary

William C. Fearn, age 88, passed away peacefully in Bradenton, FL, on April 29, 2020, and his daughters were with him.

He proudly served his country with the United States Navy on an LST 1101 from 1950-1954. His favorite saying, "we would take the Marines wherever they wanted to go!"

Bill worked for Niagara Mohawk as a lineman for 37 years and had perfect attendance. He was an active member of the Foreman's club and I.B.E.W. Local Chapter 1339. He was a 25-quart blood donor to the American Red Cross. He loved playing cards, golf with his favorite buds, going to his "pub" to tip a few with those same buds and many others, too numerous to count. He loved doing crossword puzzles; was a whiz at Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and would watch every Yankee and Buffalo Bills game that he could. He also loved movies and watched TCM for hours on end and never missed a WWE match!

He had little sayings that were dubbed "Billisms" - a little something to make you smile, laugh or just go ... hmmmm.

Bill was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Joann; his son, Robert; his parents, Ernest and Doris Fearn, his brothers, Ernest and Robert. He is survived by his children, Ronald (Deborah) Foster, William, Jr., Patricia (Norman) Ammerer, and Wendy Bodnar; proud grandpa of Sara (Robert) Foster, Anthony (Ashley) Fearn, Nathan Ammerer; and great-grandpa of Mason and Ellie Foster.

A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at a later date.

Cheers Pops!
