Walter H. Weiss, 70 of Wheatfield, formerly of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada; on September 6, 2023. Born January 6, 1953 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; son of the late John and Louise (Hoffman) Weiss. Wally moved to Western NY in 1978. He was employed at Kimberly Clarke - Canada, John Gross Contracting, and owner of Weiss Heating & Air Conditioning. Wally was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Wheatfield; Bergholz Fire Company, Tri-Community Ambulance Service Inc., and the Wheatfield Lions Club. He was a former member of LaSalle Lodge 1049, enjoyed golfing, helping family and friends, but most of all, the time spent with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Patti L. (Riegle) Weiss, whom he married June 24, 1978; two sons, Daniel L. (Michelle) Weiss of Niagara Falls, NY, and Michael J. (Cassie) Weiss of Lewiston, NY; a sister, Elizabeth Weiss of Ontario; and five grandchildren, Mariano, Isabella, Mathis, Alexis, and Lacie Weiss.

He was predeceased by three brothers, George, John, and Eric Weiss.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Services on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Roswell Park Cancer Institute, or Niagara Hospice.
