Virgil M. Cross
Mr. Virgil M. Cross, 81, of Andalusia, AL, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020, at Andalusia Manor.
Mr. Cross lived most of his life in New York. He was a truck driver for Merritt Paving and later in life he started his own company, Cross Trucking. In his later years, he moved to the Andalusia area.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Cross of Andalusia; three daughters, Theresa Cross Smith of Georgia, Jacqui Ledbetter and fiance Tim Watson of Georgia, Gloria Ann (Lee) Coleman of Montgomery, AL; two sons, Gary (Kim) Cross of Niagara Falls, NY, Virgil (Dina) Cross of Pendelton, NY; two step-sons, Robert (Mary Ann) Raley, Johnny (Karen) Raley of Andalusia; a step-daughter, Vicky Rae (Tommy) Byrd of Andalusia; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sue (Jim) Lapponese of Ft. Myers, FL. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, sister and step-daughter, Cindy Stroud.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 23 from 2-4 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

I have very fond memories of Virgil as he was a very colorful part of the Merit Paving family. My dad Charlie always had stories about the days on many of the roads in Niagara County. I know he was a dear friend to my late Uncle Gino Biasucci. So sorry for your loss.
