The Life and Legacy of Victoria M. Brown


Victoria Marie Brown "Vicky Lett" of Fort Washington, MD, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on April 3rd, 1963, the daughter of the late Ralph Travis and the late Anna Mae Travis-Rivers.

Victoria Brown moved to Niagara Falls, NY, in 1965. There she attended 95th Street School and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School. She worked for the Ponderosa Steakhouse and later at the Niagara Falls Airforce base. In 1986 Victoria moved to Washington, DC, where she was provided an opportunity to work for the federal government of OCDETF as a Program Analyst for 35 years. Victoria attended Strayer University where she obtained three different degrees, an Associate degree of Arts in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and a Master's degree in Computer Applications.

Victoria is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ricardo H. Brown; son, Ricardo Brown II; daughter Coressa N. Brown; and daughter-in-law Ashley Brown; two sisters, Jean McClain, Doris (Clifford) Hill; one brother, Eugene B. Lett, Jr.; and aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
