Galveston, Texas - Timothy Dewight Rivers born July 15, 1962, passed away April 13, 2026 due to cancer in the brain from the Love Canal situation.

He loved his family, his nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and parents, the late Joel Rivers and Angelina Bradley Rivers, sisters; the late Trynette Rivers, the late Diane Thomas and the late Mona Thomas and Beverly Davis. Brothers; Chris (Anna Marie) Rivers , Joe Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Joe Lewis, JJ (Lori Ann) Rivers.

Timothy graduated from LaSalle High School in 1981. He was on the high school football team, the track and field, he was a great sprinter! He was a placement player for the Cleveland Browns football team. He worked for Tops International for 19 years and was in the union. He worked for Target and Ponderosa. He was a hard worker, a workaholic and was a Jehovah Witness.

Timothy met Jeanette Billings and married her in 1996, they divorced in 2010. Later he moved to Texas. He met Rose Barns and married her in 2011. They had two sons and two daughters. He worked the ferry boat, Target and Wegmans. He joined the Texas Chess Club. He loved reading the Bible.
