Niagara Falls, New York - Thelma K. Rafferty (nee Becker) entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 18, 2022 under the care of Niagara Hospice, she was 77. Born in Olean, New York on August 11, 1945, the daughter of the late Floyd and Dorothy (nee Andus) Becker.
Thelma graduated from Lewiston-Porter High School and attended Niagara University and Kelly Business School. She worked for Walmart for 10 years as a cashier and Jackson-Hewitt Tax Preparation for over 20 years as a tax rep. Thelma loved to play bingo, taking her dogs for a run, lunch with friends, picnics and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, Thelma is predeceased by her sister Roslie Johnston. She is survived by her loving children Diedre, Joyce and James Rafferty; cherished grandchildren Casarah Rafferty, Daniel Rhinehardt, Miranda Peunic and Marissa Lafferty; adored great-grandchildren Kamron, Mariah, Boomer and Layla; dear siblings Alice Boyer-Meyerhofer, Yvonne Rudd, Oddie Lance, Walter Lance, Linger Lance and Tommy Lance; also survived by many nieces, nephews and long time friend Glenn Brown.
Arrangements by the Spallino-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME. The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 2-4 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church, 624 Hyde Park Blvd, Niagara Falls, where a memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
