Sylvia Earl passed at home, surrounded by family, on January 7, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Annie Mountain; her brother, John (Jack) Mountain; her husband, James House Earl; and her son, Thomas Frederick Earl, and wife, Lisa.
Sylvia was a graduate of La Salle High School and Kelly Business Institute.
Sylvia shined love, compassion, wisdom and humor on all those around her. She loved playing cards, cribbage and other board games and was known to be the card shark of the family. She was also exceptionally good at needlework, leaving treasures for us to hold onto for years to come. In her younger years, she also enjoyed bowling. Her primary focus was always her family. She was a loving mother grandmother and great-grandmother.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Joanne (William) Amaru, Nancy (Michael) Trombley, and Cathy Earl (Gary Piwtorak); grandchildren, Jason (Cheri) Amaru, Steven (Serena) Cristiano, Heather (Tait) Stamp, Stacey (John) Cirillo, and Hudson Earl; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
