Stanley Joseph Drabczyk, 84, of Walkersville, MD, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on November 18, 1933, he was the son of the late Mary Elizabeth (Promowicz) and Joseph Andrew Drabczyk.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force and later retired from the defense contractor Vitro Laboratories. Stan loved painting, carving, geneology consulting, cooking and Ancestry.com.
In addition to his parents, Stan is preceded in death by his loving wife, Faith Elizabeth Drabczyk.
He is survived by his six sons, Robert Drabczyk of Walkersville, MD, Stanley David Drabczyk of Woodbridge, VA, Thomas Drabczyk of Bowie, MD, Kevin Drabczyk of Walkersville, MD, John Drabczyk of Honolulu, HI, and Matthew Drabczyk of Shenandoah Jct., WV; and one daughter, Cheri Ferguson of The Woodlands, TX; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Drabczyk and wife Barbara, and their three children, Scott, Kelly, and Katie; and sister, Joan Veyksner and husband Daniel, and two children, Janet Crawford and Linda Tofalli.
Inurnment will be Saturday, August 11th at 1:00 PM at St. Michaels Cemetery, 250 27th Street, Niagara Falls, NY.
