It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that the family of Rose Marie (Marino) Shelton announces her passing. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday July 28, 2021 at the age of 87.

Rose Marie worked as an educator for over 30 years, dedicating herself to students with special needs with the Niagara South Board of Education.

Beloved wife of the late Sidney Shelton (2010); and cherished mother of Dave (Lori) Shelton, Debbie (Warren) MacKenzie and Douglas Shelton; loving "Nonni" of Jimmy Shelton, Brett (Johanna) Shelton, Richard (Natalia) MacKenzie, Jaclyn (Justin) Boone, Morgan MacKenzie (Darrel Lane); and great-grandmother of Max MacKenzie. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Mark (Linda) Wyno. Predeceased by her sister, Sadie Marino (2010).

Cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will take place at Stamford Green Heritage Columbarium, where she will be reunited with her loving husband, Sidney.

Arrangements entrusted to the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls.

In memory of Rose Marie, memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Support Services, and would be appreciated by her family.
