Ronald E. Zastrow, of Ransomville, NY, husband of Joyce Yousett Zastrow, entered into rest on Thursday, September 26, 2019. He was born in Lockport, NY, on October 2, 1954, the son of Jean Devereaux Zastrow and the late Arnold Zastrow.

Ron worked for Sadlo Lumber as an estimator and buyer. He loved working in his yard, gardening, wood working, old cars, family time, especially time with Papa's boy, Akam.

Father of Jennie (Parm) Atwal and Angela Zastrow; brother of Timothy Zastrow, Michael (Peggy) Zastrow, Jacqueline (Kevin) Dean, William (Karen) Zastrow, Dana (Jennifer) Frost and the late James and Deborah Zastrow; grandfather of Akam Atwal. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY, on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11 AM in St. Peters Lutheran Church, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
