Ronald "Ron" L. Quiett, age 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. He was born June 18, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, son of Lewis and Viola Friedrichs Quiett.

Ron graduated from Lewiston Porter High School and retired as a cable splicer for AT&T. A lifelong resident of Youngstown, NY, he was actively engaged in his community. He served on the Lewiston Porter and Orleans/Niagara BOCES school boards; past President of Youngstown Lions Club; an adult leader of Boy Scout Troop 829, and member of Ransomville Volunteer Fire Company Fire/Ambulance/Fire Police, Town of Porter Zoning Board of Appeals and Niagara Pioneer Soccer League.

He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Joyce D. Quiett; and wife of 37 years, Lucille Thomas Quiett.

He is survived by his three children, Ronald (Kathleen) Quiett, Jr. of Melbourne, FL, Darryl Quiett of Winnemucca, NV, and Lynn Quiett of Youngstown, NY. He was also the grandfather of three and great-grandfather of three.

No prior visitation. There are no services at this time.
