Roman A. 'Ray' Koszelak, of North Tonawanda, Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the age of 82, surrounded by his family and under the care of Niagara Hospice.

Ray was a U.S. Army veteran, retired employee of Bell Aerospace Company and the Atlantic Research Company after 51 years of service; and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ray's body was donated to the U.B. School Anatomical Gift Program to be used for scientific research.

Beloved husband of 59 years to Dolores 'Dolly' (nee Darlak) Koszelak, dearest father of Dr. Robert, Paul, Barbara (Greg) Fronczak, Debra (Don) Swartz, Nancy (Dennis) Scibetta and the late Timothy. Loving grandfather of Stephanie, Christopher, Kevin (Allegra), Amanda, Alex, Sarah, Emily, Thomas, Rosemary, Donald and Michael; and great-grandfather of Emma and Nora. Dear brother of Joe (Eileen), Chet (Mary) and predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters. Also survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Koszelak; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering for family and friends in Ray's honor will be held on Friday, January 6th from 4-8 PM at the Saber Funeral Home, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271).

Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (Oliver St.) for a Memorial Mass celebrated Saturday, January 7th at 9:30 AM.

Flowers graciously declined. Memorial gifts may be made in Ray's honor to Niagara Hospice or O.L.C. Renovation Fund.
