Richard H. Warszawski, 91 years old, passed away on December 4, 2022. He was born in Niagara Falls on June 23, 1931, the son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Strzelewicz) Warszawski.

Richard attended Holy Trinity Parochial School, Gaskill Junior High School and was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School. On April 9, 1952 he was inducted into the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged on March 23, 1954 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Army of Occupation with German Clasp Medal. He worked as a compositor for the Niagara Gazette for 30 years and retired in 1992. He was a member of the former Holy Trinity Seniors; Woodmen of the World Lodge 211; Buffalo-Niagara Typographical Union No. 9 and the American Legion Portage Post 1465. Richard enjoyed golfing; playing basketball and softball in the Industrial Fastpitch League for the Niagara Gazette.

Richard was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Shirley (Chiovelli) Warszawski who passed away on August 9, 2022. He is survived by his children; Wayne Warszawski, Cynthia (Joan) Warszawski-Burdick and Linda (Mark) Milanovich; his grandchhildren; Mark (Kelly Hessinger) Milanovich and Michelle Milanovich and her husband Brandon Carr and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers; Chester, Walter, Stanley, Edward and Casimer Warszawski.

Friends may call on Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 259 Fourth Street with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Interment with Military Honors in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Those wishing to make a contribution in memory of Richard are asked to consider the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Association.
