Raymond Chew, 84, passed away June 22, 2020 in Haines City, Florida. Raymond was born on the Tuscarora Nation January 4, 1936 to the late Jefferson and Gertrude (Thompson) Chew.
Raymond was predeceased by wife of 50 years, Merilynn (Hatfield) Chew. They moved to Haines City, FL, after his retirement from the NYS DOT in 1994.
Raymond is survived by his sister, Stella Printup; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Hibert, Norman, Edward, Merle, Eleanor Chew, Betty Banks, Beverley Luick, and Carolyn Tucker.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 27 at the Tuscarora Baptist Church at 11 AM with Pastor Walt Printup III officiating. He will be buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
