Patricia A. (nee Matyjas) Krawczyk of Amherst, NY, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late William and Irene (Jakubowski) Matyjas and resided in Amherst for the past forty years.

Mrs. Krawczyk was a retired teacher of the Niagara Falls School District, where she spent 15 years at 60th Street School and was a former substitute teacher at the Sweet Home School District, Amherst.

Wife of the late Walter R. Krawczyk; dearest mother of Melissa (Adam) Schmidt and the late Robert Krawczyk; proud grandmother of Alexander and Ryan Schmidt; sister of the late Richard (Donna) Matyjas; also survived by nieces and nephews; dear cousin of Rodney and Arlene Rawluszki.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on Sunday, October 22nd from 4-8 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271).

Family and friends are asked to gather at St. Christopher R.C. Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 AM. Entombment Ascension Chapel Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made in Patricia's honor to Seasons Hospice, 1579 Straits Turnpike, Unit 1E, Middlebury, CT 06762.
