Michele M. (nee Promowicz) Newman, age 55, born and raised in the City of Niagara Falls, most recently resided in the City of Tonawanda for the last seven years, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2023.

Loving wife of Tim Newman; loving mother of Ian and Adrienne (fiancé Alex Deyo) Davison; bonus mom of Mindy (James) May and TJ (Brittany) Newman; devoted grandmother of Natalie, Aubriella, Robert, Madeline, Olivia and Connor; cherished daughter of Mike and Candy (nee Paron) Promowicz; dear sister of Michael (Linda) Promowicz; sister-in-law of George (Sandy) Newman and the late Tom (Kerrie) Newman; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michele worked as a surgical nurse at Millard Gates, DeGraff and Millard Suburban hospitals for over 30 years and loved to care for people. Michele made an impact on everyone she encountered with her caring personality and heartfelt smile including patients, friends and family. She was loved by all. Her grandchildren were her world and it was not often that she did not have a grandchild in her loving arms. She enjoyed spending time at Lighthouse Christian Camp with her family and friends. She also enjoyed the company of her fur babies Riley and Puma.

The family will be present on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Spallino-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls (same location as Otto Rendanz Funeral Home). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. John de LaSalle Church, 8477 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 on Tuesday at 11 AM. Flowers gratefully declined.
