Michael F. Tierney, 63, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 8, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Pfifer) Tierney.
Michael was employed as an EMT with Frontier Ambulance and also as a laborer with Laborer's Local #91. His life centered around his family, and he loved being a "Papa" to his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife, Janine L. (Scarcelli) Tierney; his daughters, Maria (John Serbert) Tierney and Amanda Scarcelli (Blake Napierla); his grandchildren, Mia, Giavanna, Max, Molly, and Baby Blake; as well as several other close family members and cousins. He was the dearest uncle to Wendy (Joe) Kiszewski; and also survived by his loving friend, Georgia Kiszewski; and was the son-in-law of Joanne (late James) Scarcelli. He was predeceased by his brother, Pete Tierney.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15 from 5-7:30 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
