Melvin A. Parkes, of Niagara Falls, NY; age 79; Beloved husband of Florence I. (nee Promowicz) Parkes. Devoted father of Kirk (Cindy) Parkes, Bryan Parkes, Kathleen (Richard) Maslach and Stacey (Robert) Marielle. Cherished grandfather of Monica, Elizabeth Maslach, Megan (Andy) Hultz, Chelsea (John) Strachan, Hannah Parkes, Cody, Steven Hoover, Lillian Parkes, Erik, Ellie Parkes. Adored great-grandfather of six great-grandchildren. Loving son of the late Melvin G. and Hazel Parkes. Dear brother of Harold David Parkes.
Family will be present on Wednesday, June 19th from 3-7 p.m. at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls (same location as Otto-Redanz Funeral Home), where military honors will be rendered at 7:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
