Mary Elizabeth (Friedrich) Palka, 79 years old, passed away on September 21, 2022. She was born in Sebring, Florida on July 18, 1943, the daughter of the late Joseph Friedrich, Sr. and Regina (Szlichcinski) (Clarence) Mack.
Mary was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and enjoyed many years of friendship with her beloved sorority sisters. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Henry P. "Hank" Palka who passed away on August 29, 2021.
Mary is survived by her children; Henry V. Palka, Anthony Palka, Lori (John) Zapf, Joseph F. Palka and Michael (Desiree) Palka and her grandchildren; Brianna Palka, Jack, Charles, Nicholas and Christopher Zapf, Joseph P. Palka and Anthony Palka.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 9:30 am at St. Peter's R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO THE LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
