Mark Dean Trosky Obituary

Niagara Falls, NY - Mark Dean Trosky passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2026, at the age of 69.

Born to Betty (Towner) Trosky and Charles Trosky, Mark was raised on Whitney Avenue in Niagara Falls alongside his brother, Mike. A man of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and true grit, he had a self-deprecating sense of humor, and if he gave you a hard time, it usually meant you had earned a special place in his heart.

Mark was the devoted husband of the late Patricia "Pattie" (Page) Trosky, proud father of Melissa (Chris) Lauricella and Mark (Jen) Trosky Jr., and beloved "Papa" to Skyler, Louis, Anthony, and Abigail.

A gifted musician who played by ear, Mark was the longtime drummer for ReflectoR and also played guitar, trumpet, and sang. His career included Regal Tip, hotel maintenance in Niagara Falls, and security at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino as employee #39.

He found happiness on his motorcycle, with Baby, Camille, and the people he loved.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Trosky; his extended family; and many friends.

In accordance with Mark's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

Mark's family has entrusted his care to the Goodlander family, OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE (716-297-9007). Share condolences and memories at GOODLANDERCARES.com

His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the music he made, and the quiet lesson he passed down: we do hard things.
