Mark D. Novelli
Mark D. Novelli, 60, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 6, 2020 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Yolanda I. (Artuso) Novelli and late L. Richard Novelli.
Mark was raised in Niagara Falls, attended local schools and graduated from Bishop Duffy High School. He was employed for many years as a car salesman at Joe Cecconi Chrysler Complex in Niagara Falls, NY.
Mark loved to help and inspire people battling with addiction, and touched many lives. He cherished the time spent with his family and friends. In addition, he had a great passion for music, especially the local music scene, where he could be heard playing his harmonica with his many musician friends. Above all, Mark was at his happiest when he was with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who he said made his life complete.
In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his son, Greg (Kate) Lindstrom; his fiancee, Nori Bucci; three grandsons; siblings, Frank A. Novelli, Linda M. (H. Joseph) Newton, Sandra M. (Paul) Wilkins, Rebecca M. (Kevin) Dugan, and Michael C. (Rachel) Novelli; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen M. Novelli.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, from 2-7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Mark's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 10 at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. There are so many memories that will never leave my heart, it hurts so much that you had to leave us all way too soon. God wrap your loving arms around Mark, he is your Angel now and may you comfort his loving family and friends that will miss him more than you know.

To the Novelli family,
I didn’t know Mark personally but I understand he and I had some mutual friends in common. From what I’ve gathered about Mark, he was a selfless person who was all about helping others and putting others before himself. I must praise him for being able to embrace being clean and sober for many years. That’s a hard feat for many of those out there suffering from addiction. I’m truly sorry for the loss of your loved one. You all have my deepest condolences.
