Marion Ketch
June 15, 1949 - September 6, 2023
Marion Ketch, 74, passed away on September 6, 2023 at Schoellkopf Health Care Center. She was born in Niagara Falls on June 15, 1949, the daughter of the late Marvin and Helen (Rosczypala) Ketch.
Marion was a 1967 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and a member of the last graduating class of St. Mary's School of Nursing. She had a 43 year career as a registered nurse, retiring from Kenmore Mercy Hospital after spending her life doing a job she truly loved. Marion was a Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her brother, Ronald (Barbara) Ketch; her sisters, Christine Ketch, Marcia Lloyd and Linda (John) Mayhue; several uncles; many nieces and nephews and Cherie (Jason) Hibbard, the daughter she never had and who was always there for her. A special thanks to Marion's neighbor, Danny, who was a great help to her and to her caregivers, Mary and Emma. Marion was predeceased by her companion, Steve Kowal.
All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls. Inurnment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
