Margaret Jean Baker (Maggie) Obituary
Niagara Falls, NY - Margaret "Maggie" Baker (Beckwith), lifelong resident of Niagara Falls passed on May 25, 2025 while hospitalized during a brief illness. Maggie loved her family, gardening, cooking, and her dog, Rocco. Maggie was a loving wife, taking care of her husband as he faced many health challenges at the end of his life. She cared for her mother during her final years. As a mom she always wanted the best for her daughter and was happy to have both daughter and granddaughter live with her temporarily. Maggie's family could always count on her to prepare a hearty and abundant holiday meal and host an open house for all to enjoy. In the summer Maggie's passion was her garden where she grew tomatoes, squash, annuals and perennials. Maggie's constant companion for the last decade has been her dog, Rocco. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends.
Maggie was predeceased by her husband Roger, parents Avis and Bob, brother George, and niece Tammy.
Maggie is survived by her daughter Christina Jarvis (Josh), granddaughters Caitlyn Metzger and Maryann Jarvis, sister Pat, brothers Jim, Donald, and Jason, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A final farewell for Maggie is yet to be determined.
