Kay H. Rose, 75, of Lockport, husband of Lynda Oswald Rose, has gone to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Born on September 3, 1942 in Clearfield, PA to the late King and Margaretta McCloskey Rose.
Kay served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963. In 2007 he retired from Weinburg Campus. He enjoyed fishing, painting, gardening, camping and was a member of the Lockport Alliance Church.
Surviving is his wife, Lynda; children, Michelle (Gary) Marble, Michael (Corrie) Hayes and Glenn Reinard; five grandchildren; his brothers-in-law, David, Douglas, Dale, Darrell and Drew Oswald; mother-in-law, Lois Oswald; several nieces and nephews and his dogs, Toby and Beau. Kay was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Mael.
A memorial service will be held at the Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Rd., Lockport, NY 14094, on MONDAY (July 16) at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Lockport Alliance Church or Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
