John B. Symmonds, passed away January 7, 2023, age 72.
Devoted husband of Theresa (nee Labenski) Symmonds; loving father of Jeffrey (Jennifer) Symmonds, Jamie (David Giusiana) Symmonds and stepson Chad Barczak; cherished grandfather of Daniel Symmonds; dearest brother of Barbara Terryberry, James (Susan) Symmonds and the late Patricia Dzwonkowski; also survived by nieces and nephews.
John served in the Army during the Vietnam War, was co-owner of Buffalo Lift Trucks, comptroller at World Auto Parts and enjoyed golf and bowling.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-7 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:00 AM Thursday at St. Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweet Home Rd., Amherst. Please assemble at church. Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
