Minister Johnny Ray Rose (John Rose), (Tuttie), born January 22, 1956, departed this life on November 20, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Otis and Merdis Rose of Niagara Falls, NY.

John was employed at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital as a janitorial manager where he acquired the skills to open his own janitorial business, J&J Cleaning Services. He also enjoyed ministering to those he met while working at the Buffalo City Mission where he was employed until his illness.

He leaves to cherish a son, Richard Rose of San Diego, CA; daughters, Rachel Rose, of Niagara Falls, and Amirah Rose (Immani Gregory), of Goose Creek, SC; stepchildren, Damien and Jazmin Cary, both of Niagara Falls; three grandchildren, Skylar Rose and Richard Rose, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, and Nasir Ali of Niagara Falls; one great-granddaughter, Callie Rose of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Marvin Hamilton of Niagara Falls, Thomas Rose of Atlanta, GA, and Gary Rose of Niagara Falls; sisters, Diane Welch and Liz Anderson, both of Niagara Falls; nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at Word of Life Ministries, 1941 Hyde Park Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY 14305, Thursday, November 29 at 11:00 AM.
