Joann C. Fearn, age 83, (nee Hartman) died peacefully at her home of sixty years in North Tonawanda, NY on July 28, 2016.

Joann was active in her community and volunteered for the Riviera Theater, the Herschell Carousel Museum and the NT History Museum. She was a participant in the 1949 British Legion Honor Guard. Joann enjoyed going to the casino with her friends. Without a doubt, she was the Number 1 Elvis Fan. Travel, reading Stephen King Books, Crocheting and Knitting and her two Babies her boojie Parakeets, were her passion. Joann was predeceased by her siblings, Ethel, Walter, Evelyn, David, Donald and her Partner in Crime, William Billy Hartman.

Devoted wife for 61 years to William C. Fearn, Sr. Loving mother of Ronald (Deborah) Foster, William C. Fearn, Jr., Robert Fearn, Patricia (Norman) Ammerer and Wendy Bodnar. Proud grandmother of Sara (Robert) Foster, Anthony Fearn, Nathan Ammerer and great-grandmother of Mason Foster. Lifelong friend of Carol LaBombard.

Friends received by the family on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda from 4-6 PM. The family requests that memorials be made to Arthritis.org, The Riviera Theater or the Carousel Museum.
