James W. Edel, II Obituary
James W. Edel, II, of North Tonawanda, Monday, February 27, 2017, at the age of 53. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, James graduated from North Tonawanda High School, class of 1982, attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from the University of Plattsburgh. He was an Eagle Scout, Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster in the North Tonawanda area from 2001 through 2011, and was active with his daughter's Girl Scout troop from 2003 through 20167. He enjoyed fishing and collecting stamps and lighthouses.
Beloved father of Audrey and Emily Edel; mother of his children, Robin Heath; beloved son of Marsha (nee Kolodziej) and Rick Chaffee. Dearest brother of Stephen Edel and Veronica Witt. Half-brother of Tony and Scott Edel. Stepbrother of Jennifer (Tom) Flynt. Dear uncle of Christopher Witt. Also survived by cousins; and his father, James Edel.
The family will be present to greet relatives an friends on SATURDAY, March 4 from 5-8 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where a Memorial Service will be held on SUNDAY at 11:00 AM.
