James L. Bellreng, also known as Jamie, age 67, of Lewiston, NY, passed away at home on March 4, 2025. Born on April 9, 1957 in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of the late Louis and Virginia (Dellaree) Bellreng. On October 1, 1994, he married Tamara Lehr.

Jamie was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He retired from the Laborers Local #91 and went on to work for National Maintenance, where he was currently employed. Jamie was a member of St. Peter Church in Lewiston. He coached hockey for many years and enjoyed golfing, working in the yard and on his koi pond and landscaping. Above all else, Jamie loved being with his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Jamie is survived by children, Holly (Michael) Placek, Sarah (Michael) Dulski, Sam (Kelsey) Bellreng and Lisa Bellreng; grandchildren, Conner, Harper, Amelia, Gia, Emily and Mason; siblings, Robert (Michelle) Bellreng, Paul (Janet) Bellreng and David (Cheryl) Bellreng; his brother-in-law, Samuel (Kathy) Lehr and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other in-laws. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Michael (Flory) Bellreng.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, from 4-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). Jamie's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, March 8th, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Peter Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, with Father Luke P. Uebler II serving as celebrant. All are invited and are asked to assemble at the church. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
