Helen Elizabeth (Taylor) Russell, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 24, 2025 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born on April 21, 1932 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Purnal and Helen (Pattinson) Taylor and the wife of the late Robert R. 'Dick' Russell.

Helen came to Niagara Falls, NY in 1940, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1950. Before raising her family and becoming a homemaker, she worked for Union Carbide and Olskers Oil Distributors. Helen was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and AARP.

Helen is survived by daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Lewis and Barbara Acee; grandchildren, Michelle Lewis, Joseph R. Lewis, Nicole Wasula and Amanda Acee; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and spouse, she was predeceased by children, Timothy R. (Simone) Russell, Carolyn Russell and John T. Russell; a brother, David P. Taylor and a sister, Barbara (late Raymond) Arseneau.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Helen's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, at 11:00 a.m. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
