Guy C. Mort Obituary

Guy C. Mort entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 22, 2022 in Mercy Hospital after a short illness, he was 82. Born on March 2, 1940 in Niagara Falls, New York, the second child of the late Harold and Dorothy (nee Cadwallader) Mort.

He attended Niagara Falls High School. He married his wife of nearly 63 years, the late Angela M. (nee Rizzotto) Mort in Sacred Heart Church on May 23, 1959.

He was a proud United States Marine, serving from 1957-1961. Guy worked for over 30 years as a tool and die maker with Tulip Corporation, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed spending his free time gambling, spending time with his children, grandchildren and watching all sports, including his Dallas Cowboys.

Besides his parents and beloved wife, Guy is predeceased by his dear sister Gay Cicero. Guy is survived by his loving children Guy M. Mort, Wendy A. (Kevin) Gonzales and Michael A. (Renee) Mort; cherished grandchildren Nicholas (Sarah), Michael Jr., Michael, Darin, Derek, Dylan, Ronnie and Matthew; adored great-grandchildren Brianna, Jaxon and Brooke; sisters Mary, Roberta and brother George; also survived by many nieces, nephews and best friend Harold Donoughe.

There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements by the Spallino-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Committal Service on Saturday at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 500 Riverdale Avenue, Lewiston at 11 AM.
