Age 80, of Wheatfield, on March 20, 2023 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence.
Daughter of the late Howard and Leona (Schultz) Grant. Gaynel is survived by two children, Steven (Dianne) Flay of Pendleton and Wendy (Robert) Britton of Sanborn; grandchildren, Heather Flay, Steven (Marli) Flay, Robert (Katelyn) Britton Jr., Garrett (Lindsay) Britton, and Mackenzie Britton; great-grandchildren, Jonah Britton, Cohen Flay, Maleah Britton, Wyatt Britton, Lincoln Flay, Waylon Britton, and Benson Flay. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Frank L. Flay Jr.
Visitation on Sunday 2-4 p.m. at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield. Services on Monday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, 6630 Luther Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 (Hamlet of Bergholz).
