Frank Edward Langdon Obituary

Frank Edward Langdon, September 9, 2016, at home. Born January 13, 1947 in Wilson, he was a son of the late Kenneth M. and Marguerite (Stockwell) Langdon.

He attended local schools, then went to Georgetown, majoring in linguistics. Frank entered the Army during Vietnam and was wounded within his first 30y days of combat. He returned home, working for the NYS Canal System for 30 years. Frank was an avid reader, liked crossword puzzles and was a sports fan.

Surviving are his brother, Nick (Gail) Langdon of Salisbury, NC; sister, Melinda Langdon of Machais, Maine; and beloved friend, Patti Larkin of Lockport. Also his nephew, Greg (Heather) Langdon of Seven Devils, NC; and niece, Patricia (Steve) Adelman of Greensborough, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 A.M. in Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee and Pine, with luncheon to follow.
