Frances K. Hickey (Conahan), born June 21, 1941, has passed peacefully on June 25, 2019, surrounded by her daughter and granddaughters.

Frances ("Frannie") was born in Hazelton, PA, and was the daughter of the late Cormac and Frances C. (Brady) Conahan. Frannie was the youngest of six children, having four brothers, Neal (Theresa), Mick (Inga), Jerry (Rita), and Patrick (Carol); and a sister, Mary Beth (Ray).

Frannie was a beautiful, loving, and dedicated mother, grandmother, and wife. Frannie enjoyed shopping, tanning, estate and garage sales, and playing her "numbers" waiting for the big win, but what she loved most was spending time with her neighbors and long time friends, Florence Crabtree, and going to the casino and playing bingo with her partner in crime, Judy Robbins.

Frannie was a hair-stylist with her own shop in the basement of her home in Niagara Falls, NY, and worked many years at the Howard Johnson's on Main St.

Frances is survived by her husband of 54 years, Francis X. Hickey, who married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church; her three children, Lisa (Michael), Michael, and Molly; and her grandchildren, Megan, Frances C, William, Cormac, Gabrielle, and Riley; in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Frannie requested no burial services, making special arrangements to donate her remains to the UB Anatomical Gift Program. The family asks if you would like to remember Frannie, to please make a donation in her name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
