Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Helen (nee Kluga) Rutkowski.
A resident of Tonawanda for 20 years before moving back to Niagara Falls, Florence had been employed at Moore Business Forms and then at M&T Bank in Niagara Falls before retiring in 1987.
She had been the wife of the late John Stempien and the late Matt Mazza; and sister of the late Dorothy Rosinski and the late Art Rutkowski. She is survived by her son, Ron (Kathy) Stempien of Niagara Falls; and her brother-in-law, Edward Rosinski of Tonawanda.
Services were cared for privately with the family, followed by interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
