Beloved husband of 65 years to Annette (nee Chapin) Darlak; loving father of Charlene (Murray) Mumau, Patricia (Brian) Graham, Karen (Norman) Granville, Michael (Patricia), Sandra (Jay) Barnett, David (Gina). Eugene, Christopher (Felicia) Darlak and the late Denise Silvernail; cherished Grandpa of 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Thaddeus (late Antoinette), Dolores (late Roman) Koszelak, Robert (Jenna) and the late Joseph (Gloria) and John Darlak; brother-in-law of Irene Darlak. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Saber Funeral Home, 549 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, NY 14120, on Tuesday, May 31st from 4 to 7 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd., N. Tonawanda, NY 14120, on Wednesday, June 1st at 10:00 AM.
Flowers graciously declined. If memorials desired, they may be made in Gene's memory to Niagara Hospice.
