Enoch D. Kalynycz, 79, on Friday, February 17, 2017 after a long illness. Enoch retired from GM Powertrain -Tonawanda Plant UAW Local 774 and previously worked at Columbus McKinnon in Tonawanda. He was a member of OLC Church and The Ukranian Club 17. He enjoyed, camping, playing polkas on the accordian, woodworking and fixing things that his daughters' broke. He lovingly took care of everybody.

Beloved husband of Virginia R. (nee Topolski) Kalynycz. Father of David E. (Grace Horton) Kalynycz, Karen E. (the late Kenneth) Plummer, Susan E. (Gary) Tschamber, Julie A. (Gregory) Armitage, James M. (Rene) Kalynycz and Diana M. (Victor) Alvarado. Son of the late Ignac and Julia Kalynycz; and brother of the late Mary Goraj. Proud grandfather of Sarah (Corey) Phillips, Nicholas Kalynycz, Christopher (Jessica) Kalynycz, Emily Pease, Eric Pease, William Alvarado, Salina Alvarado, Michael Kalynycz and Julia Kalynycz. Also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Friends received by the family on Sunday from 5-8 PM and Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, 57 Center St., North Tonawanda. (Please assemble at the church.) Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the The National Kidney Foundation or the Niagara County S.P.C.A.
