Niagara Falls, New York - Emilio DeSimone, Sr. entered into rest on April 1, 2023 at the age of 88 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Carmella DeSimone (nee Bonazza); loving father of Michael DeSimone, Gina (Guy) Bonafede, Linda (Michael) Promowicz and Emilio (Diana) DeSimone, Jr.; devoted papa of Madison, Jonathan, Jessica, Jacob and Lucas; cherished great-grandpa of Delilah and Emmett; dear brother of Hugo (the late Laurie), Josephine (the late Sam), Elvera and the late Elisa (Tony), David (Ida) and Mary (Nello); also survived by nieces and nephews.

Emilio was a baker at Nabisco retiring after 44 years. He was an active member at the Century Club and the Volare Lodge in Niagara Falls. Emilio loved the OTB and his trips to the casino. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and most recently his great-grandchildren.

The family will be present on Wednesday from 10AM - 12PM from the Spallino-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road (same location as Otto Redanz Funeral Home), where funeral services will immediately follow at 12PM. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Emilio's memory to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport.
