Dorothy (nee Zorker) Sowers, age 90, passed away peacefully after a brief illness. A life-long resident of North Tonawanda, she was the eldest of four daughters of Michael and Elizabeth Zorker. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Elmer "Red" Sowers and recently by her son, Dennis Muniak. She is survived by her loving daughter Linda (Dennis) Tosetto of Lewiston, her granddaughters, Stephanie (James Karl) Karsten of Williamsville, Lindsey Muniak of Washington, DC, and Andrea Muniak of Bel Air, Maryland.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by her three sisters, Ruth Rados of North Tonawanda, Christine Zollenkopf-Wiser of Williamsville, and Barbara (Clinton) Hodge of North Tonawanda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday June 25, at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda, NY.
