Dorothy A. Andrejcak passed away on February 14, 2025 at NFMMC following a brief illness. She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Richard Steven Andrejcak.

She is survived by children, Michele (Douglas) Brocious, Michael (Joan Irving) Andrejcak and Martine (Douglas) McClellan. In addition, she is survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Charlotte (Krystek) Colucci & Francine (Krystek) Huber.

Dorothy was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Jane (Jozwik) Krystek and granddaughter Erin (Andrejcak) Biskup.

Dorothy grew up in the west side of Niagara Falls.Her parents owned Krystek's Delicatessen on 24th Street and East Falls Street in Niagara Falls. She and all siblings in the family worked at the store and grew to know so many in the East Falls neighborhood. Dorothy returned to school in 1986 to pursue a degree in nursing. She graduated as an RN and worked a successful and satisfying career as a nurse at NFMMC for 25 years.

Dorothy, aka" Saint Dorothy" will be remembered for her unwavering kindness and love to all on this planet. We children believe that Dad came to escort Mom to their place in Heaven on Valentines Day of this year.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, February 21st at St. Mary's of The Cataract R.C. Church, 259 4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. James Kirkpatrick officiating.
