Darlene M. Hanel, 43 of Bergholz, entered the Kingdom of Heaven December 4, 2022, while surrounded by her loving husband and parents. She was the daughter of Willard and Sherry (Burman) Haseley. A member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, she graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School, and earned an Associate's Degree in Radiology Technology at NCCC. Darlene was employed at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She enjoyed reading, vacationing in Outer Banks and decorating for Christmas.
Survivors include her husband, Nicholas G. Hanel; her parents; two children, Evan and Ellyse Hanel; two sisters, Kristen (Todd) Hayes, and Dannielle (Todd) Galas; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Services in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Luther Street, on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
