Niagara Falls, New York - Bonnie Lou Curtis, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at Schofield Nursing Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Leo A. Garrow and Dorothy (nee Keys) (late Benjamin) Rodgers.

Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls where she attended local schools and graduated from high school. On August 29, 1959, she married her beloved husband, Joseph Curtis.

Bonnie had a passion for embroidery, creating treasured keepsakes that continue to be valued by family and friends. She also had a deep love for cats, finding joy in their companionship and presence. Above all, she cherished family gatherings, where lasting memories were made.

Bonnie is survived by her two grandsons, Michael Chiponis, John (Sarah) Chiponis, and her beloved extended family. She was sadly predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and two children, Joseph J. Curtis and Laureen (late Douglas) Chiponis.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 14 from 9:30 - 11:15 AM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 11:15 AM, followed by Bonnie's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will be held privately in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA at niagaraspca.org.
