Age 88 of Wheatfield. Son of the late Bernard and Genevieve (Lewandowski) Garey. Preceded in death by his wife, Joyce M. Garey; sisters, Christine Stoinoff and Cythea Atkinson; and grandson, David G. Szlachta.
Survivors include seven children, Deborah (Francis) Szlachta, Bernadette (James) Heuer, Joyce (late Albert) Wienke, Jennifer Garey, Janine Garey (Christopher Hufnagle), John (Diane) Garey, and Stephanie (Anthony) Martino; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeffrey) Matusik, Jaime Pangrazio, Kyle Szlachta, Sarah Heuer, Kelly Heuer, Jessica Oswald, Julie Oswald, Shannon (Wesley) Giles, Alexander Garey, Hayden Garey, Samantha Martino, Alexis Martino,and Anthony J. Martino; great-grandchildren, Finnegan Matusik, Landon Pangrazio, Cody Pangrazio, and Chloe Szlachta.
Visitation at DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday 5-8 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Vincent dePaul Parish - Prince of Peace Site. More information may be viewed at DuBois Funeral Home (Facebook site)
