Barbara A. Walker (Williamson), of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2022 at Buffalo Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on June 22, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Shallona Williamson, Sr.. She is the youngest of eight children.
She attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School and Bryant and Stanton schools. She was employed at Moore Research Center for 40-plus years.
Barbara was a lifelong, active member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Niagara Falls, NY, where she served as Deaconess and on many committees. She was also involved in many organizations such as The Links Incorporated and Jack & Jill of America Incorporated.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband of 60 years, Huey P. Walker; sons, Philip A. Walker, Lockport, NY and Mark S. Walker, Atlanta, GA. She is survived by sister, Thelma Cheatham, Niagara Falls, NY.
Home Going Service will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church, with viewing from 11 AM - 12 Noon, service to follow at 12 Noon. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
