Alice Elizabeth Klinger Obituary

Alice Elizabeth (Donnelly) Klinger May 25, 2016 in Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Facility with her family at her side. Born October 22, 1927 in Syracuse she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Moreth) Donnelly.

During World War II she worked as a Rosie the Riveter making propellers at Porter Cable in Syracuse then for Clover Industries as a punch press operator. Alice retired from Harrisons as an inspector in 1992 then Newfane High School in maintenance. A member of Our Lady of the Rosary Wilson, NY she enjoyed League Couples Bowling, gardening, fishing, spending time with family and worked the family farm raising cows and grapes.

Predeceasing is her husband Carl Robert Klinger May 1, 2006 surviving are her children Carl R. (Susan) Klinger of Olcott; Linda (Mark) Fowler of CT. ; Dennis (Eileen) Klinger of Wilson. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 1, 2016 from 6-9 P.M. in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home 270 Young Street Wilson with Services to follow immediately after. Rossfuneraldirectors.com
