Aileen Cooke
Aileen Frances Cooke was ushered into Heaven on Sunday, November 3, 2019.
Aileen was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and moved to Niagara Falls, NY when she married her true love, Donald. Don and Aileen were married on September 6, 1952. They celebrated 67 years of marriage. They lived in the same neighborhood for over 62 years. Aileen had several neighbor friends that she enjoyed visiting with. She loved her home and enjoyed having people over for lunch or dinner. Aileen was always happy to bake a cake and take a treat wherever she went.
She tried to make every occasion a celebration. Aileen decorated her home with love and care and did her best to share love with those she knew. She attended many Bible studies over the years, loving Jesus deeply. She was a member of Niagara Community Church for many years and then attended First United Methodist Church.
Aileen's top priority was being a wonderful mother. She raised two daughters and was so proud of their achievements and their families. She was an encourager and saw the best in those she met and knew. She loved to send cards of encouragement to people, and over the years wrote many notes of thanks and praise to family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; along with two daughters and their husbands: Sue (Joseph) Civiletto and Donna (Patrick) Gettings. Also, three grandchildren and their spouses: Robert (Laura) Quarantillo, James (Annie) Quarantillo and Molly (Joseph) Rex; five great-grandchildren, James, Lucy, Lilly, Rosie and Leo.
Aileen will be greatly missed by her family, but we are reassured that we will be reunited in Heaven and will enjoy eternity together.
The family will be present on Friday, November 15th, from 1 PM until family and friends share reflections together at 2 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. The interment will be held privately in Acacia Park Cemetery.
