W. C.'s Story
W. C. Williams, 68, of Niagara Falls, exchanged time for eternity May 1, 2017 In Buffalo General Hospital. Born April 6, 1949 in Linden, AL, the son of the late Cleveland and Sylvester (Howard) Williams.
Mr. Williams married the former Carolyn Smith in 1970, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church until moving to Niagara Falls. Mr. Williams loved the Lord and always greeted everyone with a smile. He was a U.S.Army veteran, serving from 1968-1970.
Surviving other than his wife, Carolyn, are four children, Tamekia Williams, Carlos (Melissa) Williams, W. C. Williams, Jr., and Marlin Harper; six brothers, Cleveland (Linda) Williams, Alonzo (Minnie) Williams, Theodore and Tommy Williams, Oscar and Brooks Williams; three sisters, Christine Waller, Shirley Ann Williams, Jacqueline Williams; and one sister, Ida Little, predeceased him. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, including a special great-niece, Veah, who called him 'Quack-Quack.'
Visitation will be on Thursday at 11 AM in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1334 Calumet Ave. Funeral will be on Monday, May 8, at Noon. Burial at the convenience of the family.
