Sterling L.'s Story
A Memorial Service will be held for Sterling Lamont Boling on Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Niagara Falls, NY.
Sterling, a former Golden Globe, PAL and Niagara Falls AAU Olympic Boxer, was a former Niagara Falls High School varsity basketball player. Prior to his death, he worked as a Personal Trainer and was Self Employed in the music business. Sterling was also formerly employed by Health Systems Agency in New York.
Sterling, the son of the late Floyd, Sr. and Zorie Bell Boling, was born on June 17, 1961 in Niagara Falls, NY and died of natural causes on May 9, 2016 in Queens, NY, where he lived for the past twenty years. The service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Doris W. Jones Family Resource Building, located at 3001-9th Street in Niagara Falls, NY.
Sterling is survived by sisters, Leona (Joel, Sr.) Blackburn, Mechele, Tamara May, Zorie, Amber and Heather Tripp of Buffalo, NY, Crystal (Robert) Barton, of Getzsville, NY, Celeste (Gary) Jackson of Bronx, NY, Ava Rose of Niagara Falls, NY and Desiree (Anthony) Watson of West Orange, NJ; brothers, Floyd, Jr. (Cassie) of Queens, NY and Dane (Tonya) of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by aunts, Ruth Coleman and Bessie Mosley of Buffalo, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Bonnie L. Leverette and Rosalind Boling; a brother, Milton 'Asa' Boling; and a nephew, Sterling May.
