Robert's Story

Robert (Bob) Wagner passed away peacefully on July 16, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong resident of the Town of Niagara, he attended Trott Vocational School.
He became a welder, and retired from Saint Gobain. Bob was a longtime parishioner of St. Leos Church and a devout Catholic. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran who took special interest in helping to improve the lives of other veterans. He leaves behind his pride and joy, his ONEBAD66 Chevelle that he raced with his many friends in the Gasser Gang. Bob will always be known for his humor and kindness to everyone he met. He was an upstanding and honorable man who had a big heart.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, Ray and Bette Wagner (Bellreng). He leaves behind his two daughters, Dawn Wagner (James Guzdek), Traci Radle (Jerome Radle, Jr.); and beloved granddaughter, Kaitlyn Downie; siblings, Donald (D.R) Wagner (California), Mary Beth Stacey (Wendy Sturgeon) (Canada), Deborah and Nestor Kozlowsky, (New York), Christopher and Christine Wagner (Idaho), Mary Moss (New York), Jessica and Colin Stacey (Canada); and close friend, Lenny Plewniak. He had several nieces and nephews, Gabrielle, Annalesa, Jeremy, Andrew, J.T. and Ember.
Visitation on Wednesday, July 20th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.amvetsnsf.org and St. Labre Indian School www.stlabre.org.
