Robert Carl Moore, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, died on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. He was 87. He was born in Niagara Falls on November 6, 1928, the son of the late Gordon W. and Marie (Sinclair) Moore.
Mr. Moore had a long career with Moore Business forms as a journeyman, pressman and printer. He retired from Colorforms, Inc., North Tonawanda in 1990. He was an exempt member of the Town of Niagara Number #1 Volunteer Fire Company. A family man, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Davidson Moore; four children, Diane (David) Heffler of Williamsville; Marilyn (Brian) Bundy of Florida; Robert Carl (Stephanie) Moore, Jr., of Westford, MA and Christopher Gordon (Fiancée Ann Marie Webber) Moore of Youngstown; siblings, Kenneth Moore of Lewiston; of Wheatfield; Marlene Fernandez of Amherst; Leonard (JoAnne) Moore of Wilson; five grandchildren, Eric, Dr. Melissa (Fiancé Kostas Tsigkrelis) and Jennifer Heffler; Samantha and Jessica Bundy Cruz and an adopted granddaughter, Mary Di Stefano; two great granddaughters, Eliana and Samantha Heffler. He was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Kennedy Beverly (Henry) Graca.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-6 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where the Rev. Justin Marple will conduct Funeral Services Monday at 11 AM. The interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, NY.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of one's choice.
